I Aims & Scope
Adhering to the rigorous and realistic publishing style, Advanced Textile Technology features “advanced textile”, mainly covering basic theories, cutting-edge technologies and innovative achievements in the fields of fiber materials, textile engineering, dyeing and finishing chemicals, apparel and accessories, textile equipment, textile industry management, etc. Boasting a high-level peer review mechanism and an efficient peer review and publication process, it is committed to building an important window of textile technology. Submissions from textile industry researchers at home and abroad are warmly welcome.
Advanced Textile Technology has been successively included in A Guide to the Core Journals of China and The Key Magazine of China Technology, and has been as T3 journal of “Classification Catalogue of High-Quality Scientific and Technological Journals in the Textile Field”, in 2024. In the meanwhile, it has been successively indexed to significant journal databases both home and abroad such as SCOPUS, WJCI and EBSCO. In 2024, Advanced Textile Technology will solicit contributions with focus on the following requirement and topics:
Academic requirement
The articles shall be highly readable, with high academic reference and citation value, practical technical methods, and research ideas and writing content that can enlighten readers and provide reference for them. The contribution can be a comprehensive review, a research-oriented or technical article in a certain field or topic of the textile discipline.

II Instructions for authors
1. Content requirements
Academic papers with substantial reference and citation value are primarily accepted. They are required to have prominent themes, clear viewpoints, comprehensive evidence, informative content, proper wording and formatting, accurate use of legal measurement units, and a total of at least 8,000 words.
The title shall be within 20 Chinese characters, with a Chinese abstract of approximately 250 words and 6 to 8 keywords which shall be accurate, concise, and distinctive. Furthermore, an extended abstract in English should be provided.
The illustration should have uniform lines, clear marks, and the colors can be preserved (please note whether it can be clearly distinguished after grayscale printing). The captions for figures and tables in the manuscript should be provided in both Chinese and English.
After receiving the manuscript, the editorial department will not allow the change of the first author in principle.
Please specify the name and project number of the fund program. The notation of the fund program shall be truthful and objective, with research content relevant to the project. Publication priority will be given to significant research outcomes from major projects.
References shall be in accordance with GB/T7714—2015 Rules for Content, Form and Structure of Bibliographic References. To meet international database inclusion requirements, references should be provided in both Chinese and English. The translation of article titles and journal names in citations shall be consistent with the original wording in general. 3. Submission methods
Please visit the official website of the Journal (www.journal.zjtextile.com.cn) for registration and submission. All manuscripts shall be submitted online. Single-column typesetting is acceptable for submissions and please upload the manuscript to our system in Word.

4. Manuscript processing flow
The Journal strictly follows the system of “three reviews and three proofreadings” for academic journals. After the manuscript has passed the preliminary review, the responsible editor will send at least two peer-reviewed experts to “double-blind” review the manuscript’s innovation and application value. According to the experts’ opinions, the (associate) editor-in-chief conducts the final review and decides whether the manuscript is to be revised, accepted or rejected.
The specific processing workflow for manuscripts is as follows:
Once the manuscript is published, a certain publication cost is charged before publication, and the remuneration is paid after publication.
For advance publication, please call the editorial department, and special submissions will be handled appropriately.
The high-quality manuscripts accepted by the Journal will be released online. Such articles are published on China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) several weeks or months ahead of the printed version, allowing authors to exercise their “first publication right” at an early stage.
The Journal has granted permission to several databases, including CNKI, for the reproduction, compilation, distribution, and online dissemination of all articles of the Journal in a digital way. The remuneration provided by the Journal includes copyright usage fees for inclusion in several databases including CNKI. All contributing authors submitting articles for publication to the Journal are considered to have agreed to the above statement. For any objections, please specify them when submitting the manuscript. We will handle them according to the author’s instructions.
6. Publication fees and remuneration
No review fee is charged by the Journal. After the manuscript is accepted, the page charge is needed. The page charges cover the costs of journal publication, printing, and related expenses. The author agrees that a one-time page charge will be collected by the editorial department before the paper is first published. If the editorial department decides to publish the paper in any other form later on, additional page charges will not be incurred. The publishing fee of RMB 2,000 for each article is collected by Zhejiang Textile Engineering Society, one of the Journal’s sponsors.
After the first publication of the paper, the editorial department will make a one-time payment of remuneration to the author. If the Journal publishes and disseminates the paper in any other form in the future, the author will no longer be paid. The body content of the manuscripts shall be paid at RMB 50/page (calculated as one page for any portion less than a full page).
7. Copyright policy
There shall be no copyright disputes, and the pictures in the manuscript shall be original or authorized to be published. The editorial department has right to review, delete and modify the manuscripts.
All articles published in the Journal are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC-ND-4.0) license. After publication, the papers will be publicly and permanently free to read, download, copy, print, search or link to the full text. They can also be used for other legitimate purposes.
After the manuscript is accepted, it is necessary for the author to sign the “Letter of Copyright Authorization” and submit it through the system or scan and send it via email to the editorial department.
8. Licence terms
Third party users are permitted to read, download, copy, print, search or link to the full text of articles by Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives (CC BY-NC-ND), or use them for other lawful purposes. Nevertheless, during use, it is required to retain the author’s signature, author’s affiliation information, and the publication date of Advanced Textile Technology. It is only for non-commercial purposes and no deductive creation is allowed.
Authors are allowed to use the paper for any other non-commercial purposes.
9. Data policy
The Journal encourages authors to submit related data of papers for public preservation, so as to improve the credibility and data reusability of papers and maintain academic reputation. The linked data repository recommended by the Journal is Science Data Bank (www.scidb.cn).
