Abstract: Increasing spinning speed of spun yarn without increasing broken ends and energy consumption in high-speed spinning process has great significance for improving economic benefit of enterprises. This paper describes requirements of high-speed spinning for steel collar and traveler and how to verify their matching effect reasonably, briefly introduces breakthroughs and success of Qiusheng Company in new high-speed steel collar and traveler and special specification through transformation and upgrading of materials, equipment, heat treatment and surface treatment in recent years, and points out that steel collar and traveler have low friction coefficient and good consistency, short startup period, good energy-saving property, long life and strong adaptability to high-speed compact spinning and high-speed ring spinning and will be the development direction of ring spinning steel collar and traveler of ring spinning in the future.
