Mechanical properties of continuous alumina yarns and fabrics

连续氧化铝纱线及其织物力学性能

Abstract: In order to study the mechanical properties of the foreign and domestic alumina yarns and fabrics at room temperature and high temperature, three types of continuous alumina yarns and their fabrics from the United States(MG), Japan(RB) and China(GC) were subjected to the tensile loading before and after high temperature treatments. Besides, the GC alumina-imitated MG and RB alumina fabrics with the identical structures were also conducted with the corresponding tensile performance tests. The results show that the breaking strength of MG, GC, and RB alumina yarns are 33.4, 36.5, and 41.9 cN/tex, respectively. After 4 hours of high temperature treatment at 950 ℃, the retention rate of GC alumina yarn breaking strength is 76.0%, and the retention rate of breaking strain is 32.7%, which are the highest among the three yarns. The tensile breaking strengths of the MG and RB alumina fabrics are 1060.9 and 864.0 N/cm, respectively while the breaking strengths of the GC alumina-imitated MG and RB fabrics can reach 875.3 and 653.3 N/cm. After high temperature treatment, the imitated RB fabric has the highest breaking strength retention rate of 76.3%. And the maximum breaking strain retention rate of the alumina fabric is significantly higher than that of alumina yarns.

摘要: 为了探究国内外氧化铝纱线及织物的室温与高温力学性能,对已产业化的美国(MG)、日本(RB)和国产(GC)3种连续氧化铝纱线及织物进行室温与高温处理后拉伸性能表征,并利用GC氧化铝纱线,仿织成MG、RB相同结构织物,测试比较他们相应的拉伸性能。结果表明:MG、GC、RB氧化铝纱线断裂强度分别为33.4、36.5、41.9 cN/tex。950 ℃高温处理4 h后,GC氧化铝纱线断裂强力保留率为76.0%、断裂应变保留率为32.7%,在3种纱线中最高。MG、RB氧化铝织物拉伸断裂强度分别为1 060.9、864.0 N/cm;而GC氧化铝纱线仿织MG、RB织物的断裂强度可达875.3、653.3 N/cm。高温处理后,仿织RB织物的断裂强度保留率最高,可达76.3%,氧化铝织物的断裂应变保留率明显高于氧化铝纱线的断裂应变保留率。
